  • The physical education requirement may be waived when a physician states in writing that participation in the physical education program will be injurious to the student’s health.  Further, a minister’s written statement that participation in the physical education program violates the religious principles of the student’s faith will be accepted for waiving the physical education requirement.  It is the responsibility of the student and/or the parents to produce the certificate before a waiver is granted.  Waivers will be recorded on the student’s permanent record.
